We are looking for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Contracts Manager to manage the financial and contractual aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects within the Nordic region. You will play a key role in overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Manage day-to-day quantity surveying and commercial activities across multiple projects from contract awards to completion.
- Provide commercial and contractual guidance to Sales, Projects, and Design teams.
- Monitor and control changes to ensure successful financial outcomes while minimizing risks related to time and cost.
- Report directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor and take ownership of major projects within your scope.
- Contribute to the company’s growth strategy by ensuring projects meet financial and contractual objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage contracts and accounts for various projects, ensuring timely and profitable negotiation of variations and final accounts.
- Address issues and discrepancies to keep projects on track regarding budgets and timelines.
- Manage change processes and introduce improvements where necessary.
- Identify claims and opportunities, calculate entitlements, and ensure accurate contract administration.
- Review and manage contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions and address any scope changes.
- Support procurement by advising supplier and subcontractor selection, managing tenders, and negotiating contracts.
- Identify and mitigate risks to prevent delays or cost overruns, including defending against counterclaims.
- Conduct measurements and valuations of completed work to maximize payment applications and ensure timely billing aligned with project progress.
