Role Overview
The Business Development Consultant is a strategic bridge between Sales and Consulting. You will work alongside Account Executives (AE), Digital Transformation Advisors (DTA), and Solution Principals (SP) to drive the implementation portion of deals to closure. This is a high-visibility role requiring a blend of process consulting, emotional intelligence, and technical scoping.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Build and manage relationships with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Product) and external client stakeholders (Business & IT).
- Deal Scoping & ROI: Analyze client business processes to scope engagements that drive value, speed of implementation, and ROI.
- Commercial Documentation: Build accurate services quotes and proposals, and lead the negotiation of Statements of Work (SOW).
- Pipeline Acceleration: Partner with the sales team to move opportunities through the pipeline, ensuring technical and functional alignment.
- Standardization: Support the creation of assets, tools, and methodologies to help the Commercial Team practice scale and improve.
- Client Engagement: Frequently interact with prospects throughout the deal cycle, including onsite travel as required.

The Process Strategist
Candidates from Tier 1/2 institutes with a background in Operations, Sales, or Non-IT Consulting.
Process consulting, excellent presentation skills, and first-principles thinking.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–6 years of overall professional experience (with at least 2 years in a Consultant/Pre-sales or Technical role).
- Implementation Track Record: Proven experience in the end-to-end implementation of a product or application.
- Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Experience facing North American or European clients is a significant plus.
- Assertiveness: Ability to negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders using high emotional intelligence.
- Domain Knowledge: Exposure to Order-to-Cash (O2C) or Accounts Receivable (AR) products is a strong advantage.
- Mindset: An eager learner who can rapidly master HighRadius’s AI capabilities and SaaS product suite.
