About the Position
We have an exciting junior position available in our Category team for a Commercial Category Controller! The role is part of the Commercial Benelux Business unit in Amsterdam and is reporting into the Category Lead Drinks and Brunch.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the team with actionable insights and strategic planning to drive category growth and profitability. You'll work on a variety of tasks that ensure our products are successfully marketed, sold, and optimized for both Kraft Heinz and our retail partners.
In brief, you take ownership of:
- Owning and improving category forecasting to ensure business accuracy and better decision-making for both Kraft Heinz and our retail partners.
- Promotional plan design and alignment and communication of promotional plans according to RGM Guidelines
- Tracking and supporting the delivery of category goals and priorities
- Defining actions to optimize portfolio play (SKU rationalization)
- Supporting Supply Chain Losses plans and results
- Supporting sales teams on trade-offs with category
- Involved in Supply and VE initiatives to drive profitability of the assortment
- Involved on Innovation business cases
Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.
- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree
- 0-2 years of experience in a position that showcases your data savviness and analytical skills
- Clear motivation for the Food industry!
- Proficiency in English. Dutch language skills are an advantage
- Self starter; not afraid to learn on the job and work in a multifaceted and high pressure environment.
