We are looking to hire a Commercial Business Senior Leader for the MRO site in Foley facility.

As a senior leadership team member, you will set clear expectations, support team development, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

 

What You Will Do

  • Full strategic responsibility for aftermarket and service strategy development, strategy modeling, business analytics strategic planning and execution
  • Lead team who conducts pre-sale and post-sale support activities that involve identification of customer product needs
  • Conduct feasibility and performance studies and analyses
  • Provides support for activities related to sales engineering and sales applications
  • Provides technical advice regarding products to customers
  • Conduct sales contract administration, performs analytics, pricing, and segmentation to develop competitive product/ market intelligence related to aftermarket and service contracts
  • Identify and assist implementation of operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Implement lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Create and monitor KPIs to improve cost, efficiency, and service quality
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Drive engagement, accountability, and continuous development at all levels
  • Operational Excellence
    • Identify and assist implementation of operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives
    • Implement lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives
    • Create and monitor KPIs to improve cost, efficiency, and service quality
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Make effective, data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation and improve market responsiveness
    • Communicate and collaborate effectively across all levels of a business. Working closely with internal teams (Business Development, Legal, Finance, Operations, Compliance, etc.) to ensure cross-functional alignment on commercial matters.

 

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Strong background in commercial operations within an aerospace environment

 

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in an aerospace MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) environment
  • Experience working in engineering within an aerospace environment
  • Experience with nacelle or composite structures and related repair processes
  • Experience interacting with customers
  • Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
  • Experience presenting in group settings and communicating across organizational levels
  • Familiarity with regional cultural norms and working across different countries
  • Experience managing Profit & Loss statements
  • Knowledge of aerospace structures

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
