For our Western Europe region, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Commercial Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to drive business growth and expand our customer base. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying new opportunities, managing customer relationships, and supporting strategic business initiatives across the region.

Job Description

  • ​​​​​Develop and expand our customer base by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Proactively prospect new customers using all available tools and strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Pharmaceutical Support, Experts, and Gx Teams) to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Manage orders, including checking and following up on Purchase Orders and Order Confirmations.
  • Maintain and update the customer database.
  • Support the Business Opportunities pipeline and manage related reports and Excel templates.
  • Expand our presence within selected Biotech and Pharma Clusters.
  • Take ownership of KPIs, objectives, and sales targets.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in science and/or sales.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharma packaging, pharmaceutical, medical device, or packaging industry.
  • Strong business acumen, well-organized, and highly motivated.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve goals in a remote environment.
  • Excellent listening and customer relationship management skills.
  • Capable of multitasking and managing multiple priorities within deadlines.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A true team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel (50-60%).
