Commercial Banking International Onboarding Specialist - Payments Implementations Associate/Vice President

You have found the right team and play a role involves direct collaboration with clients and banking teams to determine optimal onboarding strategies and ensure the completion of due diligence processes for Commercial Banking products and services.
As an International Onboarding Specialist within the Commercial Banking International Onboarding Team, you act as a trusted advisor to clients and serving as a project leader to manage the end-to-end onboarding process. You will facilitate seamless client onboarding, ensuring accurate requests and adherence to policies to mitigate risks. Collaborating with bankers, clients, and product partners, you will set the tone for international market expansion, guiding clients through the onboarding journey and ensuring a smooth transition to our services. Your role is pivotal in establishing strong client relationships and successful market entry.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of contact, providing overall ownership of the client experience and satisfaction during the international onboarding process, and manage multi-entity/jurisdiction standard product implementation and account opening requests globally, including cross-region implementation deals.
- Collaborate with clients and banking teams to develop and execute implementation plans, ensuring clear expectations and transparency of timelines using project management principles, while managing and coordinating communication and status updates with clients and internal partners.
- Assist the sales/banking team in sales pitches and Request for Proposals to increase win rates and drive business growth.
- Provide subject matter expertise on international regulatory requirements, products, documentation, and services, and support global and regional onboarding initiatives to enhance client experience and meet operational and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders from the Transformation and Product organizations to perform user testing or platform enhancement testing for internal tools and platforms.
- Prioritize daily tasks to maximize productivity using strong time management and organizational skills.
- Train junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring they are equipped to handle onboarding tasks effectively.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline onboarding procedures and enhance overall efficiency.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- At least 8 years of experience in any combination of the following areas: operations, project management, accounting, technology, analytics, training, or process improvement, with exposure to client interactions within the Banking industry.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with policies, and maintain integrity in all interactions.
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively address client issues and commit to exceptional service and client satisfaction
- Identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Proficient in PC skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for effective communication and presentation. We encourage candidates eager to enhance their digital literacy and adapt new tools.

- Familiarity with tools that help keep track of changes and progress in projects.
