The role

Our Commercial department is one of the fastest growing areas in the business, with a number of teams focusing on different parts of the business. As a result of this, we are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our team and partner with us to continue to drive continuous improvement across all streams. Partnering with a variety of different departments, it is a fast-paced, dynamic role where you will utilise your analytical skills to drive success of the business and truly see the outcome of what you do. This gives you an opportunity to broaden your Commercial skillset and experience different streams.

On a daily basis you will:

· Partner with Business Development and Account Management teams to design sustainable solutions for new and existing business opportunities, ensuring:

• Customer objectives are clearly understood, met, and articulated
• Solutions align with operational requirements, including an appropriate carrier mix
• Consulting tools and methodologies are applied to clearly demonstrate efm’s value proposition and minimise pricing pressure
• Profitability is optimised through effective cost-to-serve consideration and well-negotiated carrier agreements

· Analyse and model data to quantify the commercial impact of business decisions and support stakeholders in identifying improvement opportunities

· Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations from analytical projects

· Support procurement activities by presenting negotiation scenarios that promote long-term sustainability for efm, customers, and carrier partners

·  Monitor market trends and emerging solution opportunities that may deliver value to efm customers

·  Contribute to the enhancement of commercial processes, tools, and policies for internal and external stakeholders where appropriate

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in either a Commerce, Analytical or Supply Chain related field
• Advanced financial modelling and data analysis, modelling, forecasting skills
• ·Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Natural curiosity and a desire to expand knowledge and experience
• Strong alignment to efm values, honesty, and integrity
• Previous experience in an analytical role for a sales team and/or within a logistics or supply chain management business advantageous
