Job descriptionThe Role
Responsible for managing and growing key commercial accounts, fostering strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets for Hitachi's diverse product and service portfolio.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales quotas for assigned commercial clients.
* Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
* Identify and understand client needs and challenges, proactively proposing Hitachi solutions that deliver value and address business objectives.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients.
* Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to secure profitable deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., technical support, product development, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and client success.
* Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts, pipelines, and account information within the CRM system.
* Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to represent Hitachi and expand business opportunities.
What you'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum of 12 years of proven experience in commercial account management or B2B sales, preferably within the technology, industrial, or solutions-based sectors.
* Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing revenue within assigned accounts.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on understanding client business needs.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
