The Role
The Affiliate Partnerships Manager will grow affiliate partnerships across our portfolio of world-renowned brands, including Vogue, GQ, Glamour, House & Garden, and Condé Nast Traveller. This role will report to the Senior Director, Commerce Partnerships, and it will be responsible for identifying, securing, and delivering high-impact affiliate commerce partnerships that drive revenue and enhance brand alignment across our iconic titles. The role is client service-oriented and will set standards of excellence in the end-to-end partnership lifecycle.
The role will focus on growing partnerships primarily across fashion and beauty, as well as travel and interiors. The ideal candidate has strong experience in building and managing partnerships within one or more of these categories. The ideal candidate is a self starter who can independently identify partnership opportunities, pitch opportunities to partner, price packages and drive repeat sales with experience in sales and partner relationship management. The individual will work closely with several internal cross-functional partners, including commerce brand leads, analytics, and advertising sales teams, as well as external stakeholders like affiliate networks and SaaS platforms. Successful managers will be able to provide best-in-class service to partners, providing proposals, campaign updates, regular communication, and insightful reporting in a timely manner, while also focusing on growing the commerce business and meeting revenue targets.
What will you be doing?
Build and execute commerce partnerships across CPA and tenancy lines to deliver Affiliate campaigns against business goals
Develop, manage, and grow relationships with key affiliate partners, networks, and direct merchants across multiple verticals
Negotiate competitive CPA rates and exclusive offers; pitch and secure tenancy deals with key partners to maximise commercial performance and meet revenue targets
Identify and secure new partnership opportunities within fashion, beauty, interiors and travel
Leverage market trends, consumer insights, and performance data to inform partnership decisions, optimise campaigns, and maximise affiliate revenue growth.
Identify, price and pitch new partnership plans bringing best in class innovation on partnerships
Manage Coupon business and affiliate offers for coupons
Collaborate closely with Commerce Editors, Writers, and Market Leads to align partnership activity with editorial priorities and audience trends
Proactively identify revenue growth and diversification opportunities across affiliate and tenancy models
Monitor campaign execution and performance, delivering detailed wrap reports and actionable insights to partners and internal stakeholders
Ensure timely communication of partner updates (offers, launches, exclusives) to internal teams
Contribute to regular reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis across commerce activity
Handle ad-hoc analysis and support wider commerce team initiatives as required
About you:
5+ years of experience affiliate partnership or merchant partnership required
Experience in affiliate management with networks is required (Skimmlinks, Rakuten, CJ, Impact etc)
Partner relationship management experience is required
Sales experience in b2b sales or business development is preferred
Experience in wholesale/buying/merchandising preferred in a multi-brand environment
Experience in Fashion category with a strong network across brands is required
Proven ability to think creatively and solve problems, with strong quantitative and strategic thinking skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation and with partners
Excellent organisational abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and setting clear priorities under tight deadlines
Self-driven and a self-starter, with the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
High energy and a strong teamwork mentality, with a collaborative approach to achieving shared goals
