JOB PURPOSE
Unilever US Foods is looking for a strategic commerce growth marketing leader to shape the future of digital commerce growth across our portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of commerce media, search, measurement, emerging technologies, and retailer ecosystems to accelerate demand creation and digital penetration growth.
Unlike traditional retail media or sales commerce roles, this position serves as the commerce growth marketing center of excellence, responsible for establishing the future commerce capability roadmap and ensuring Unilever Foods remains at the forefront of changing consumer discovery, shopping, and purchase behaviors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role is responsible for developing the capabilities, frameworks, and growth strategies that enable Unilever Foods to win in an evolving commerce landscape. Working closely with retailer marketing teams, shopper marketing, brand teams, digital commerce teams, media partners, and AI/content leadership, this role will help define how commerce growth is created, measured, and scaled across our priority retail customers.
1. Commerce Growth Strategy & Capability Development
Define and evolve the future commerce growth strategy across priority retail customers.
Serve as the center of excellence for commerce growth marketing, identifying best practices and scalable approaches across customers.
Develop strategic frameworks across retail media, commerce search, measurement, AI-enabled discovery, and emerging commerce capabilities.
Build annual commerce investment recommendations across Food brands and provide guidance on where investments should increase, optimize, or shift.
Develop multi-year capability roadmaps to support future growth.
Lead test-and-learn initiatives focused on emerging commerce opportunities, platforms, technologies, and customer experiences.
Monitor industry trends and competitive developments to ensure Unilever remains ahead of the evolving commerce landscape.
2. Commerce Media, Search & Discovery Strategy
Drive best-in-class commerce media strategy in partnership with retailer marketing teams and agency partners.
Develop holistic recommendations across retail media, search, and commerce marketing investments.
Translate brand and customer priorities into retailer-specific commerce growth plans.
Partner with retailer marketing teams, agencies, and retail media networks to shape new capabilities, measurement standards, and emerging ad products.
Monitor evolving search, discovery, and shopping behaviors and translate implications into future commerce strategies.
Develop frameworks for balancing demand creation and demand capture investments.
Establish best practices that can be scaled across customers and brands.
Ensure E2E content strategy (media, influencer ecosystems, community building) connects effectively to commerce opportunities and drives measureable marketplace growth
3. Performance Acceleration & Commercial Growth
Build strategies that accelerate digital commerce growth and penetration across priority customers.
Connect commerce investments to broader business objectives, including category growth, digital penetration, incremental sales, and shopper acquisition.
Optimize commerce investments based on incrementality, growth impact, and long-term value creation.
Identify opportunities to increase conversion, basket size, repeat purchase behavior, and retailer engagement.
Develop approaches to connect content, media, search, and commerce investments into a unified growth model.
4. Measurement, Incrementality & Strategic Insights
Build strategies that accelerate digital commerce growth and penetration across priority customers.
Connect commerce investments to broader business objectives, including category growth, digital penetration, incremental sales, and shopper acquisition.
Optimize commerce investments based on incrementality, growth impact, and long-term value creation.
Identify opportunities to increase conversion, basket size, repeat purchase behavior, and retailer engagement.
Develop approaches to connect content, media, search, and commerce investments into a unified growth model.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree.
5-7+ years experience in retail media, retail search, performance media, retail marketing, or digital commerce
Proven experience driving eCommerce or digital commerce growth across multiple retailer platforms, working with retail media networks
Strong understanding of social commerce, creator ecosystems, and content-driven conversion strategies
Analytical mindset with ability to connect media performance to business and commerce outcomes, experience with clean room measurement
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across media, social, brand, and retail teams
Passion for digital, social, and commerce innovation, with curiosity for emerging platforms and trends
Comfort working in a fast‑moving, data‑driven environment with cross‑functional teams and external partners.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $103,000 to $154,400. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
