Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Textile Colorist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing Men’s color submits from development to bulk stage.

Qualifications

What you'll get to do: 

  • Conduct approval of color from development to bulk stage
  • Communicate color to overseas vendors using standard textile and color language
  • Request, track, and follow up on all lab dips and bulk fabrics
  • Ensure color comments are made to partners and records are kept up to date internally daily
  • Maintain 24-48 hour turnaround for color comments
  • Understand color feasibility and educate cross functional teams regarding limitations
  • Assist in maintaining color department SOPs
  • Provide technical support and color expertise during the development and production phases.
  • Understanding of T&A and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery
  • Create and maintain color continuity cards

Who you are: 

  • 4+ years background in textile, color/fabric knowledge
  • Understand visual and instrumental color evaluation including spectrophotometers, lightboxes, and other color tools
  • Proven experience as a Textile Colorist or in a similar role within the textile industry
  • Strong knowledge of dyeing techniques, color theory, and fabric properties
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Centric PLM software a plus
  • Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)

The salary range for this role is $80,000 per year - $90,000 per year.
