Overall mission
Support the management of Cold Chain processes and procedures in the region, to maintain CRYOPDP's Premium Logistics presence in the Life Sciences arena. Assist in ensuring that CRYOPDP maintains a premium cold chain service in the region, with "best in class" solutions for temperature-controlled shipping and temperature/GPS monitoring system solutions, as well as supporting Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles across the region.
Main Contributions:
● Assist in maintaining all elements of cold chain packaging (including qualification of new packaging systems) up to date and accurately documented in accordance with Good Documentation Practice.
● Support the inventory management of packaging and temperature monitoring equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are readily available for all projects.
● Assist in reviewing SOPs with the Quality Assurance team, including creation and regular control, to support continuous improvement of CRYOPDP processes and procedures.
● Participate in training sessions related to Cold Chain procedures and processes, including packaging and temperature/GPS logger systems.
● Support the review of CAPA reports as they relate to cold chain processes, and assist in providing input for corrective and preventative actions.
● Assist in ensuring that Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) are fully trained in our controlled temperature packaging and GPS/temperature logging solutions. ● Support project teams in the design, implementation, and installation of controlled temperature areas for operational use in new offices and acquisitions.
● Assist in temperature mapping and calibration activities for new and existing offices, including protocol writing support and maintenance of records for all activities.
● Support the management of site temperature monitoring and alarm systems, including review of periodic reporting and assessing temperature excursions.
● Assist in qualification protocols and reports for in-house performance qualifications (including temperature controlled packaging solutions and temperature sensors).
● Support internal enquiries from Client Relationship Managers, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing on cold chain related matters.
● Assist Commercial and Pricing teams with advice on suitable packaging solutions for new pricing requests.
● Support Quality Assurance team with audits, including client and regulatory audits.
● Stay informed about new and innovative technological advances in cold chain logistics and report findings to the Cold Chain Manager.
Specificity on the job:
The work schedule is 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. Start times vary. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs. The employee may be required to work overtime, holidays, or weekends.
Must be available at all times and shifts to respond to emergencies as a first responder. Standard shift is Monday to Friday, but due to the nature of our 24/7 operation you will be required to assist with occasional out of hours cover.

Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Applied Science or related field
● 2-3 years experience in cold chain packaging systems and temperature monitoring solutions (both fixed and mobile solutions)
● Experience in Premium Logistics in life sciences desirable
● Experience in qualification and validation of temperature controlled shipping solutions and storage areas

Specific experience & knowledge required
● Cryogenic experience- strong understanding of cold chain logistics, including temperature-controlled storage, packaging, and transportation.
● Experience in cold chain packaging solutions (both active and passive solutions)- strong knowledge of cold chain equipment, including refrigerated trucks, cold rooms, and appropriate packaging materials
● Experience in Google Workspace (preferred but not essential)

Salary: $100,000 dependent upon experience + stock, benefits, 401k match, etc.
