SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Coatings Advisor for an exciting new project at Fincantieri Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. This is a 2-year new build project with the potential for extended work opportunities as our company continues to grow. Responsibilities:

Give clear instructions to clients and relevant Jotun staff on paint application by working on site with relevant client representatives to ensure the coating specification is met and in accordance with customer expectation.

Carry out inspections of a specific project assigned to you by your direct manager by working independently, following the ITP and working procedures in order ensure that the product is applied in accordance with the specification

Write relevant reports by compiling data from inspections in order to document that the specification inspection criteria have been met

What We Look For:

2-3 years of Marine and Protective background; familiar with shipyard repair and new building construction.

First Aid and Fire Safety/Firefighting training preferred but can be provided.
