Viamericas is currently seeking a Co-Head of Corporate Sales. The Co-Head Corporate Sales Executive is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing strategic business partnerships with multi-location corporations (e.g., retail chains, supermarkets, etc.) across the United States. This role requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of success in complex sales cycles. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key decision-makers.
 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities. Identifying potential corporate clients with high growth potential.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis, to evaluate company’s value proposition. Identifying additional selling opportunities and promoting sales growth for established agent locations.
  • Support new agent application and onboarding process to secure all locations and employees have adequate training and tools to have a successful ramp-up.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans and business reviews for key accounts to constantly grow their business and consistently meet or exceed target goals and objectives.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals, including customers fees, pricing, commissions, volume rebates and other customer incentives.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Viamericas Corporation to effectively articulate the value proposition of the company's suite of products and services.
  • Work cooperatively with other Company departments including Applications, Accounts Receivables, Compliance, Products and other Sales Representatives, to proactively identify and address client needs and concerns, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide ongoing agent support and maintenance through agency visits.
  • Establish a nexus between client and Company by constantly communicating important information.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on sales and performance.
  • Provide feedback to sales leaders about everything that takes place with the client. This includes doubts, concerns, complaints, suggestions, and all other relevant events like changes competitors are making.
  • Counsel agents on how products and services have the potential to satisfy their needs and those of their clients.
  • Assist the Compliance department with additional training for the agents.
  • Assist with collections from nonpaying agents within assigned territory.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the time.

Information Security Responsibilities

  • Read, acknowledge and comply with Viamericas Staff Information Security Policy via the Information Security training portal.  This should be done within 30 days of hire and repeated annually.
  • Attend periodic Information Security training provided by Viamericas’.
  • Report any event that might be an Information Security Incident: clicked on a malicious link, downloaded and opened a suspicious file, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual – English and Spanish are required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in outside sales within the money transfer industry, including at least 5 years in corporate sales managing key accounts and supporting the launch of operations in chain store environments (e.g., retail or supermarket chains).
  • A self-starter, with excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, needs analysis, presentation, negotiation, and closing. Proven negotiation experience, and relationship management skills required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as demonstrate presentation abilities required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record is mandatory.
