We are looking for a Technical Co-Founder / CTO to join the founding team and take ownership of the product’s technical vision, architecture, and development.
This is a founding role with significant equity and the opportunity to shape the company from the ground up.
Role OverviewThe CTO / Technical Co-Founder will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling the technology platform that powers the business.
You will work closely with the founder to transform the product vision into a working platform, launch the MVP, iterate based on user feedback, and build a scalable technology organization over time.
This role requires someone who is both hands-on technically and capable of long-term technical leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct DevelopmentDesign and build the MVP and core product platform
Translate product vision into technical architecture and implementation
Make key decisions around technology stack, infrastructure, and scalability
Build rapid prototypes and iterate quickly
Own the technical roadmap and system architecture
Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and reliable
Establish development standards, workflows, and engineering best practices
Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
Collaborate closely with the founder on product strategy and roadmap
Prioritize features based on market feedback and business goals
Balance speed of development with long-term technical sustainability
Recruit and lead future engineering hires
Establish a strong engineering culture
Mentor developers and scale the engineering team over time
8+ years of software engineering experience
Experience building products from 0 → 1
Strong full-stack engineering capability
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure/Vercel)
Experience designing scalable architectures and APIs
Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Next, etc.)
Strong backend development experience (Node, Python, etc.)
Experience with databases, system design, and distributed systems
Prior startup experience preferred
Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership
Ability to move quickly and operate in ambiguity
Passion for building products that solve real problems
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Long-term interest in building and scaling a company
Skills Required
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience building products from 0 to 1
- Strong full-stack engineering capability
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Vercel
- Experience designing scalable architectures and APIs
