Job Description and Responsibilities
Join our team as a Machinist and apply your machining expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are seeking a skilled professional with strong machining experience, a solid understanding of API and premium threading, and programming knowledge. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the production of high-quality components, improving machining processes, maintaining safe and efficient operations, and ensuring equipment performs at the highest standard.
- Drive operational results by improving productivity, yield, first-pass yield, setup efficiency, troubleshooting, and changeover performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, environmental, and quality programs.
- Plan, coordinate, and direct daily production activities to meet or exceed production targets and support the monthly shipping plan.
- Exercise due diligence by taking every reasonable measure to ensure employee safety.
- Conduct monthly safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with operators and key stakeholders to identify issues, resolve problems, and support continuous improvement.
- Provide or coordinate employee training to ensure team members meet job standards and performance expectations.
- Support compliance with all company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Report mechanical and electrical concerns promptly and contribute to root cause and failure analysis activities.
- Engage employees in continuous improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate waste.
Requirements
- Journeyman Machinist certification with 8+ years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of machine operation, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with API and premium threading connections preferred.
- Previous experience leading a team and overseeing daily work activities is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in business operations and process improvement.
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Skills Required

- 5+ years of CNC machining and Programming experience
