Position Summary
- Interpret drawings, and CAD/CAM files to create precise CNC programs.
- Develop, test, and optimize G-code for multi-axis machining centers.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters to maximize efficiency and part quality.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot machining issues and refine manufacturing processes.
- Perform first-quality inspections and adjust programs to meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Maintain and update CNC program libraries, ensuring version control and documentation accuracy.
- Implement process improvements to reduce cycle times, scrap rates, and tooling costs.
- Train and mentor operators on program execution, setup procedures, and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and prototype development.
- Must be able to setup and operate all equipment in CNC

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in CNC programming, a computer-related field or a mechanical field.
- Experience with programming and knowledge of electronics and machine tools is required.
- Ability to use CAD software (Autocad, Solidworks)
- Must be able to read and interpret work orders and blueprints
- Experience with ERP Systems a plus
