Job SummaryReporting to the Operations Manager, the CNC Programmer is responsible for program development, design interpretation, machine set ups, trouble shooting and quality control.
Work environment: Manufacturing Setting
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
What a typical day looks like:
Create and edit CNC programs for machining parts and components using AP100 and VPSSRi systems.
Interpret design specifications, blueprints, and CAD models to develop CNC programs.
Set up and test CNC machines to ensure accurate and efficient production.
Identify and resolve programming and machining issues.
Ensure machined parts meet quality and precision standards.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years experience as a CNC programmer or machinist with AP100 and VPSSRi systems
Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code) and CAD/CAM software, with experience in AP100 and VPSSRi systems
Certifications in CNC programming or machining
Familiarity with specific CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills for collaborating with design teams and production staff
