Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing CNC programs, defining machining processes, setting up machines, leading machinists
- Responsible for driving quality, efficiency and on time production across Mazak and Swiss platforms
- Will be responsible for CNC programming using CAD/CAM software
- Responsible for blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency
Requirements
Must have the following qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in a production machining environment
- 5+ years of programming experience
- Strong knowledge of machining methods and tooling
- Expert level CNC programming and machining experience
- Experience performing First Article Inspections and precision inspection
- Experience creating and maintaining setup documentation, SOPs, and process controls
- Ability to lead machinists and manufacturing assistants with a cell
- Expert machinist can make any part
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field
- Engineering degree or equivalent hands on experience
- Programming knowledge in CAD/CAM (Mastercam, CamWorks, or SolidWorks CAM)
- Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience
- Experience supporting new product introductions and process development
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills in complex machining environments
- PartMaker experience for Swiss concentration
- Mazatrol experience for Mazak concentration
