Location: Houston 77073 (Next to IAH/ Greenspoint Area)
Shift: 60-72 hours/ week

At a minimum, must be familiar with:
- MORI SEIKI & MAZAK controls.
- Setup of various accessory level machined parts.
- Setup of various lathe tools – must know how to teach and touch off for each tool for either control. If candidate has basic understanding, training can be offered if they have NEVER run a Mazak but some experience is preferred.
- MUST be able to accurately read OD/ID Micrometers and MRP’s.
- Must be able to read and interpret prints, dimension, and tolerances.
- Must be able to follow the process, stay busy, and appear professional at all times.
- Background and drug screening required.
- This position is in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
- Assist in performing setups.
- Operate CNC lathe in accordance with operating instructions.
- Skillfully make necessary adjustment to CNC program or machine control offsets to assure compliance to all dimensions and quality requirements.
- Use precision gages, micrometers and other applicable measurement instruments to validate compliance of product.
- Maximize efficiency and productivity at all times.
- Responsible for quality of work meeting all requirements.
- Follow all Company work instructions, specifications and requirements.
- Follow all Company Rules, Procedures and Policies.
- High School education or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator.
- Must have a good understanding of machine shop operations and processes.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to read blueprints, micrometers and other precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions well.
- Mazak experience a plus.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Steel-toe boots
