We're not your typical machine shop.
At NeoMetal, we've been doing things our own way since 1997 — a little nerdy, a lot precise, and never boring. We manufacture the highest quality threadless jewelry in the piercing industry, and it all starts on our shop floor. If you love the challenge of holding tolerances measured in microns and want your work to be part of something people wear every day, we want to talk to you.
The Role
We're looking for a Swiss CNC Machinist who takes pride in tight tolerances and clean setups. You'll run and fine-tune Swiss screw machines producing titanium components so small that precision isn't optional — it's the whole job. If you get satisfaction from a part that measures dead-on and a machine that's dialed in just right, this is your kind of work.
Sign-on bonus up to $1,000 for qualified candidates!
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate Swiss CNC screw machines to produce titanium jewelry components to spec
- Load raw titanium bar stock and configure machines for efficient, high-quality production runs
- Monitor cycles closely, catching issues before they become scrap
- Inspect parts in-process using micrometers, calipers, and precision gauges
- Dial in offsets and adjustments to keep dimensions spot-on, run after run
- Take ownership of your machine and your output — quality starts with you
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of CNC machining experience — Swiss/screw machine experience a strong plus
- Comfort working with titanium or other precision metals
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- A working knowledge of CNC concepts, tooling, and setup
- Sharp attention to detail — we're talking microns, not millimeters
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
