CNC Machinist — Full-Time Opportunity Near Westborough, MA
A leading manufacturing company near Westborough, Massachusetts, is actively interviewing experienced CNC Machinists for a full-time position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on machinist who enjoys precision work, machine setup, problem-solving, and the production of high-quality parts.
What You’ll Do
Read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and technical drawings
Set up, operate, and adjust CNC Star Swiss lathes
Inspect first-piece and in-process parts to ensure quality and accuracy
Use gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
Change machine offsets, tooling, and operating parameters as needed
Perform basic G-code edits; previous G-code editing experience is a plus
Complete routine preventive maintenance to keep machines operating efficiently
Set up machines to achieve their full production capabilities
What We’re Looking For
CNC machining and machine setup experience
Ability to read blueprints and customer specifications
Experience inspecting precision-machined parts
Familiarity with Swiss-style CNC lathes is strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
