 SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications.

You will work with a variety of materials and use different tools to create complex shapes and designs. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of CNC machinery, strong technical skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

Shift Hours:

Monday-Friday 5:00AM-1:30PM 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the machining operations required
  • Set up and prepare CNC machines, including loading and securing materials, tools, fixtures and update tool data tables
  • Program, edit, and optimize CNC machine code using CAM software and or manual programming
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools, drills, and fixtures for each job
  • Perform precision machining operations such as, but not limited to turning, milling, drilling and tapping
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring tools and gauges
  • Make necessary adjustments to maintain product conformance and meet tight tolerances
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and improve machining processes
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area,

 EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role, with a strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming.
  • Experience with different CNC controller manufacturers such as Mazak, Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, etc.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Extensive knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code) and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam).
  • Familiarity with various CNC machines (mills, lathes, turning centers, etc.) and their operations.
  • Ability to operate precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to adhere to them at all times.
