Hours are 3:00pm-11:30pm.
Hourly Pay: $36.58 - $37.55

Job Summary:
To learn and adequately perform the duties and responsibilities of the Vane/Liner Cell team certified operator occupation.
Essential Functions:
- Process rough material through various machining and allied operations in a team-oriented cell.
- Responsible for maintaining cell inventory.
- Set up and operate various machines within the cell, inspect parts, deburr, perform flush and chip check, and perform various sub assembly operations. Use manual mills, drills, and various gauges when required.
- Provide a finish in accordance with the manufacturing outline and blueprint requirements including but not limited to removal of burrs and edge breaks.
- Perform sub assembly tasks as required.
- Use various gauges as required.
- Saw material as necessary.
- Clean and move parts as necessary.
- Pass an annual eye exam.
- Responsible for product verification and process control including using necessary measuring devices.
- Keep charts and records as required on completed sequences and processes.
- Rotate to different workstations within the cell.
- Perform required rework, secondary operations, routine maintenance per Appendix A, and appropriate safety checks in the cell.
- Document all non-conformances through specified data collection procedures.
- Inspect work and verify that product meets all appropriate standards at each operational step in the cell.
- Complete all required paperwork.
- Ensure all material is properly cleaned, identified, protected, and stacked prior to movement.
- Work with internal and external customers and suppliers and participate in continuous improvement activities as required.
- Complete all required documentation including but not limited to operator inspection records, job routers, NCR’s, reject tags, move tickets, and stock tickets.
- Perform other duties as assigned by department supervisor.
- Utilize computer to access various databases.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Must have previous CNC machining and milling experience.
- Must have basic reading and writing skills; Requires basic math skills to make necessary calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, detail sheets, manufacturing outlines, and written instructions.
- Requires a working knowledge of fixtures, cutting tools, CNC controls and machines, and selecting and dressing wheels for finish requirements.
- Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Physical Demands:
- Requires prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, and stretching;
- Requires occasional lifting parts, fixtures, containers, and grinding wheels up to 70 pounds to a height of 3 feet with aid of a hoist;
- Requires use of assorted burring tools;
- Requires frequent lifting and handling part and fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds to a height of 5 feet without the aid of a hoist.
- Manufacturing shop floor environment;
- Greasy, oil environment;
- Exposure to machine coolant.
