Candidates for this internship will work with researchers at the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy on a variety of potential tasks (this will depend on CMRA’s available work, and the candidate’s career goals).
Potential work includes:
- Collaborate with staff to facilitate robotics training, as an in-class teaching assistant and help with logistics such as setup, and hardware preparations
- Developing and testing curricular content and training materials
- Developing and testing digital educational games (e.g. Unity development)
This candidate should have a strong technology background, be a team player, and be a strong communicator (both written and oral).
General Requirements:
- Has a valid license and can drive or be able to self-provide transportation to the workplace
- Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly and effectively
- Possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collect, organize, and distribute feature requests, bug reports, known issues, etc
