The CWY (CMP, Wet, YE) Team in SMFAB is seeking a Process Engineering Technician Supervisor to join our team! This position reports to the CWY PE Section Manager, and is responsible for supervising the technician workforce inside a manufacturing environment and having CWY Process Ownership.
In this role, process ownership will remain the primary job function expected to utilize greater than 50% of their time. The individual will supervise process technicians who oversee processes on production equipment, and perform engineering tasks and projects as necessary. This includes enabling technicians to properly disposition material, be a primary point of contact for escalations, and be accountable for the performance of the shift technician team to achieve goals in production, quality, productivity, and cost. In addition, as an Engineering Supervisor you will also develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas and coordinate process technicians training.
QualificationsMinimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in a fab environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control and process release strategies
- Proficiency with Python, Claude, or other AI models or tools is a plus
- Experience with AMAT and EBARA CMP process tools
- Experience with Single Wafer Clean Process Tools (LAM, TEL, DNS)
- Strong understanding of Cu and Al BEOL integrations
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
