Education:
Bachelor’s degree is required; in Business Administration, Information System, Engineering or related fields is
highly preferred
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for ensuring their organization's CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) are
well maintained and operate reliably.
2. Tasks performed by systems administrators include performing regular CMMS and security monitoring,
handling backup procedures and helping set up, maintain and delete user accounts as required.
3. Provide technical support related to CMMS within their organization as needed.
4. Handle patches and upgrades to ensure that CMMS are maximally efficient and effective.
5. Ensure all of the systems they oversee are operating as expected
Especific Duties:
1. Performs data analysis on parts and assets, recommends software enhancements and process changes.
2. Measures and publishes metrics to the management team; interprets data and recommend findings.
3. Develop and maintain calibration equipment’s and standards asset architecture for site and incorporate into
CMMS program.
4. They are also responsible for developing and maintaining relevant procedures and standards.
5. Maintain current calibration equipment’s and standards asset status for all site assets and ensure asset
disposal/transfer/status paperwork remains current.
6. Maintain accurate calibration equipment’s and standards asset list and ensure asset tag system is organized
and tags are applied to relevant assets.
7. Assist with development of CMMS architecture for the site on calibration equipment’s and standards.
8. Advises staff on CMMS functions and best practices.
9. Trains CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) end users and new administrators; serves as liaison for problem solving and escalation.
10. Responsible for all aspects of the Maximo CMMS, including work order generation and tracking, and assets
inventory as they relate to the compliance of the Reduce Calibration Project contract, for its data integrity, and
database security and user access.
11. Supervise Work Control with project, and support other departments with Maximo usage:
-Clear understanding of data and configuration dependencies.
-Proficiency in the following Maximo modules: Assets, Meters, Conditional Monitoring, Locations, PMs, Job
Plans, Routes, Resources, Security, Failure Codes, Work Order Tracking.
-Provide all information and migrate data for the new environmental.
-Troubleshoot any Maximo problems.
-Provide technical and procedural direction and/or support to all Maximo users.
-Coordination with external resources to solve Maximo problems.
12. Understanding of reading and calculating usage of Utility Meters, including setting or modifying conversion
factors.
13. Develop Maximo or Excel solutions to facilitate maintenance program.
14. Responsible for overseeing or generating all contractual reports in Work Control.
15. Delegation of Work Control incoming requests or tasks.
16. Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
17. Stays current with advancements in the Maximo/Asset Management field.
18. Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers, working effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
19. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with
other employees and organizations.
20. Review current data for completeness and accuracy in clients CMMS platform: Maximo, SAP, SAMM, MP2, etc.
21. Able to work extra hours, at night or on weekends and irregular shifts.
22. Able to respond to emergency calls.
23. Able to support other departments or projects according to business needs.
24. Any other duties as required by the supervisor to support normal operations at the department
Requirements:
- Experience and domain using MAXIMO, SAP, etc.
- Knowledge of Engineering symbols and record management.
- Experience or knowledge in the Calibration Department area.
- Experience in spare parts, tool room, or maintenance planning position within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device industries.
- AD, Mechanics or Business Administration
- Technical College degree with years of experience required or nay equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
- Domain of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Must be Bilingual
