- Implement & conduct innovatve/CIP ideas for Logitech mechanical parts, lead and/or support ME&CMF technology projects to enable products and our customer diversity, inclusivity, sustainability, and customization
- Partner with product marketing/ID/ME/CMF design, perform CMF engineering design of new products: DFM, GD&T, SPC, DOE, perform materials selection, trial and qualification, painting/printing/plating and other ME&CMF process trials, troubleshooting on-site, support product projects
- Manage / partner with molding and CMF-related suppliers to ensure smooth CMF process ramp-up and MP for NPI
- Provide CMF consulting, training and support to other sites and functions(ME, QA, Commodity, PMs...)
- Support ongoing supplier audits for new tech and cost-down on existing tech…
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with critical ME and CMF suppliers, ensuring engineering excellence and consistent delivery on technical, quality, new NPIs, and Innovation.
Your Skills:
For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:
- Technical competence:
- Creative ME&CMF engineering design in the early phase of product concept with design, marketing, operation and other engineers. Synthesize and present data and ideas logically.
- Keeper of the engineering design quality to enable CMF process capability in trials and MP, solving problems systematically throughout define, approve, develop, and qualify new CMF.
- Familiar with Mechnical or materials know-how & technology (plastic, metal, composites, flexible technology, and so on). Experienced in color/appearance management techniques and Finishing techniques like printing, painting, IMD,...
- Skilled auditor according to ISO, maintain a pro-active partnership with key CMF suppliers
- Prior experience in supplier engineering management is a plus
- Personal competence
- Fluent English (reading, speaking and writing)
- Good communication skills as the CMF consultant, CMF technical influencer
- Attention to detail and flexible in a fast-moving environment
- Being able to work efficiently in a global, multi-cultural team
- Willing to travel
- Able to work with overseas suppliers
- Education
- University degree, equivalent or above - training in one of the following specialties or related: chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, materials science and engineering, printing technology, mechanical engineering
- Experience (minimum )
- 5 years of experience as a CMF/ME engineer
- 5 years of experience in electronics, sports goods, or related industries: molding, painting, printing, plastic decoration
- 3 years of experience in managing suppliers in high-volume production; small batch manufacturing a plus
- 3 years of experience working as a project engineer

Skills Required
- University degree or equivalent in chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, materials science and engineering, printing technology, mechanical engineering, or a related specialty
- At least 5 years of experience as a CMF or mechanical engineering professional
- At least 5 years of experience in electronics, sporting goods, molding, painting, printing, plastic decoration, or related industries
- At least 3 years of experience managing suppliers in high-volume production
- At least 3 years of experience working as a project engineer
- Knowledge of mechanical or materials technologies, including plastics, metals, composites, or flexible technologies
- Experience with color and appearance management and finishing technologies such as printing, painting, and IMD
- ISO auditing experience
- Fluent English reading, speaking, and writing
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in global, multicultural teams
- Willingness to travel and work with overseas suppliers
- Prior supplier engineering management experience
- Small-batch manufacturing experience
