As a Corporate Finance Analyst (M&A), you play a key role in supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of complex M&A transactions across the Benelux. You combine analytical expertise with commercial insight to help clients achieve their strategic ambitions while contributing to high-impact, cross-border deals.
You will join the Corporate Finance (CF) team in Amsterdam, the main hub of ING Wholesale Banking’s global Corporate Finance network. The team is responsible for advising corporates, private equity firms, and governments on high-profile M&A transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, public offers, and equity issuances.
Working closely with product teams such as Equity Capital Markets, Structured Acquisition Finance, and Debt Capital & Advisory, you operate in a highly collaborative, international environment focused on delivering excellence in transaction execution.
In this role, you will support both the origination and execution of M&A transactions by:
- Supporting deal execution across the full transaction lifecycle, from pitch to closing
- Preparing high-quality client presentations and materials that clearly communicate strategic insights
- Conducting in-depth research on industries, markets, and target companies to inform deal strategies
- Building and maintaining financial models (e.g. DCF, LBO) to support valuation and decision-making
- Assisting in project management to ensure timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders are aligned
- Collaborating closely with internal teams across ING to deliver integrated client solutions
