Cluster Operations Manager - North

Maersk Contract Logistics (MCL) business is looking for North Cluster Manager PKA responsible for leading and managing operations across multiple warehouse and cold storage facilities in Northern Pakistan. The North Cluster Manager will play a critical role in ensuring seamless execution of warehousing operations, maintaining high service levels, driving cost efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with Maersk’s global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations across multiple warehouse and cold storage sites in different cities within the North region
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and implement effective tracking and control systems
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting all aligned KPIs with optimized costing
• Identify and execute cost optimization initiatives and process improvements to drive operational efficiency
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, legal, and compliance standards across all facilities
• Leverage technology to improve visibility, efficiency, and productivity
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance service delivery and operational alignment
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cost control across the cluster
• Monitor profitability of individual sites and contribute to strategic budgeting efforts
• Support onboarding of new customers and operationalizing new business as aligned with growth strategies

Key Qualifications & Attributes

• Experience: 10+ years in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management, preferably in a contract logistics environment
• Leadership: Proven leadership and team management capabilities, especially across multi-location operations
• Operational Excellence: Strong knowledge of warehouse and cold chain logistics, including best practices for cost and process optimization
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data, track performance, and make strategic decisions
• Compliance Driven: In depth understanding of regulatory, safety, and quality standards relevant to logistics operations
• Tech Awareness: Familiarity with WMS and other logistics technologies to drive efficiency and transparency
• Financial Insight: Strong grasp of budgeting, P&L accountability, and cost control
• Customer Centric: Commitment to exceeding customer expectations and building strong partnerships
• Collaborative Approach: Effective in cross-functional coordination and external stakeholder management
