Job Description

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a strategic and dynamic commercial leader to step into the role of Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing – MICE. In this position, you will spearhead the MICE segment and drive business growth across a powerful portfolio of 5 interconnected hotels in Riga, Latvia: Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Daugava, Radisson Blu Ridzene Hotel, Radisson Hotel Old Town Riga, Park Inn by Radisson Riga Valdemara, Park Inn by Radisson Residence Riga Barona.

You will lead a consolidated MICE sales division, optimizing demand and cross-selling diverse properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cluster Strategy & Synergy: Develop and execute a unified MICE commercial strategy for the 5-hotel cluster. Efficiently channel leads across the portfolio to maximize revenue capture and eliminate internal dilution.
  • Revenue Generation: Maximize revenue growth by implementing strategic sales and marketing activities aligned with business objectives. Proactively source, bid for, and convert large-scale international associations, regional corporate accounts (B2B), and sports delegations to Riga.
  • Global Sales Integration: Work closely with Radisson's Global Sales Offices (GSO) and leverage the Radisson Rewards for Bookers and Planners program to secure long-term loyalty and repeat business.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and track KPIs for a dedicated, cross-functional team of MICE Sales Managers and Coordinators.
  • Market Analysis & Forecasting:  Identify and drive new business opportunities to expand market presence. Analyze market dynamics and drive precise revenue forecasting and collaborative pricing models in alignment with the Cluster Revenue Manager.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate a small but dynamic team of Account Managers to achieve outstanding results.

Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 3 to 5+ years of proven experience in the senior leadership role within hotel sales and marketing, with a strong track record of driving performance.
  • Market Expertise: A deep understanding of the Baltic and broader European MICE landscape, alongside active professional relationships with regional PCOs, DMCs, and corporate event planners.
  • Technical Acumen: Working knowledge of industry-standard property and customer management systems (Opera PMS, Salesforce CRM, and Meeting Broker).
  • Language Parameters: Absolute fluency and professional working proficiency in both English and Latvian (written and spoken).
  • Core Competencies: A strong embodiment of Radisson's "Yes I Can!" service philosophy, exceptional negotiation skills, and a result-oriented strategic mind.
