The Opportunity
The CloudOps Engineer II will help with support, research, implementation, and maintenance of a multi-tiered fuel and retail cross-marketing system, payments, and data insights. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, deploying and troubleshooting of our distributed applications. The candidate will also help with development and adapting frameworks to fit industry best practices and coordinating these activities among the Development QA and Product teams. They will be responsible for coordinating with the appropriate departments on research of and remedies for software bugs and issues found during QA, beta, and production implementations.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain/monitor servers
  • Common task automation
  • Data mining
  • Research of software issues
  • Adherence to PCI requirements
  • After hours weekly On-Call rotation
  • Leverage all ESP capabilities to successfully deploy campaigns, create reports and manage subscriber lists
  • Promote and develop a holistic, data-driven approach that supports our Members and participants, while remaining agile and innovative

Qualifications

  • Must be able to interact well with clients and internal business units
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have strong analytical skills including troubleshooting
  • Azure/AWS and api services
  • Have some SQL writing Experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot networking issues
  • Security awareness
  • Be a team player while having the capacity to work independently
  • Candidate must be a career-oriented individual with strong organizational skills
  • Perform as an independent thinker
  • Self-starter with the ability to develop creative solutions
  • Windows ( PowerShell)
  • Windows System Administration
  • SQL Server/postgres/mysql experience
  • IIS/.net
  • Data management concepts
  • Basic accounting skills

Education

  • Computer Science Background mandatory.
