Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Design: Build and manage cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
System Automation: Write scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate deployments, backups, and routine maintenance.
Monitoring and Health: Track system performance, resource usage, and cost efficiency using cloud observability platforms.
Security and Compliance: Enforce identity and access management (IAM), network security groups, and data encryption standards.
Incident Response: Troubleshoot outages, analyze logs, and resolve complex application or network issues. [1, 2, 4]
Required Skills and Qualifications
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with major providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Containers: Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with automation tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
