The Cloud Systems Engineer will play an integral role in supporting the systems engineering activities of the organization with a key focus on the deployment of system infrastructures. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to many IT infrastructure projects.

What Success Looks Like:
- Cloud environments are effectively engineered, maintained, planned, and supported.
- Provides advanced technical support and effectively manages ServiceNow incidents.
- Proactively monitors system performance, identifies potential issues, and addresses them accordingly.
- Performs effective root cause analysis on failed system components and implements corrective measures.
- Successfully designs and implements system improvements.
- Major IT infrastructure projects are successfully implemented and rolled out.
- Provides clear and detailed technical documentation and knowledge materials.
- Maintains strong relationships with staff, contracting agencies, and outsourced service providers.
- Demonstrates a strong customer service-oriented attitude when supporting users and resolving IT issues.
- Uses strong analytical and technical skills to resolve issues with a strong sense of urgency, especially those that could impact the business.
- Effectively participates in disaster recovery exercises and helps support business continuity.
- Uses PowerShell scripting and coding skills to support systems administration and improve processes.
- Successfully works with limited direction while delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Is willing and able to travel up to 10% and work extended hours/weekends as needed to support business and infrastructure needs.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Will consider years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Microsoft or other relevant IT certifications are preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
- Experience administering public cloud environments, Azure preferred.
- Experience with PowerShell and other programming/scripting languages.
- Experience with Enterprise level Identity Management using Azure.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking to supporting server and Active Directory.
- Experience with enterprise backups and disaster recovery strategies.
- Intermediate knowledge of and ability to implement semi-complex IT security best practices.
- Experience with enterprise-grade monitoring, alerting, and management platforms such as System Center, Solar Winds Orion, Splunk, etc.
The salary range for this position is $92K-$112K with the potential to earn an annual
