Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud architectures in AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for efficiency.
• Design, configure and understand hosting security measures and implement according to best practices
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate solutions into overall hosting solution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging/changing cloud technologies

• Author documentation for operations teams and support staff.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Linux system administration
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions, specifically in AWS.
• Experience with AWS services such as VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, Security Groups, EC2, IAM, S3, Workspaces
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation tasks such as BASH, Python, Perl, Ansible, Puppet, etc
• Experience of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS)
• Good troubleshooting skills at all levels, from application to network to host
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

• Required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect
