    • Hyderabad, India 

    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Public Cloud Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our public cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of cloud resources.  The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with leading public cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to support business operations. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Cloud Infrastructure Management and Support: 

    • Monitor and manage the health and performance of cloud-based resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networks, databases). 

    • Provide technical support for issues related to public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

    • Ensure cloud resources are properly configured and optimized for performance, cost, and security. 

    • Participate in On-call rotations 

    Incident Management and Troubleshooting: 

    • Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests related to public cloud environments. 

    • Investigate and diagnose cloud service issues, escalating to senior engineers or cloud providers when needed. 

    • Ensure proper root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring issues. 

    Deployment and Automation: 

    • Assist in deployment and management of cloud-based applications and services using CI/CD pipelines 

    • Help automate repetitive tasks using cloud automation tools (Terraform and Ansible). 

    Collaboration and Documentation: 

    • Work closely with development and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues. 

    • Provide technical support and training to internal teams on cloud best practices and new services. 

    • Document FAQ, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting guides. 

    Performance Monitoring and Optimization:. 

    • Act on alerts and tune the environment.   

    • Optimize cloud usage and ensure resources are right-sized properly. 

    Security and Compliance: 

    • Monitor cloud environments for security vulnerabilities and compliance issues, utilizing AWS security tools like Guard Duty and AWS Shield. 

    • Assist in maintaining cloud security standards in alignment with internal policies and industry best practices. 

    • Support audits and assist with ensuring compliance with regulations 

     

    Qualifications: 

    • Proven experience with public cloud platforms (AWS / Azure). 

    • Solid understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, and security services. 

    • Extensive experience with AWS Cloud Platform and its services. 

    • Familiar with ci/cd tools such as Harness, bamboo or github actions. 

    • Experience with Infrastructure as code such as terraform and Ansible. 

    • Understanding of cloud security concepts like IAM (Identity and Access Management), VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), encryption, and multi-factor authentication (MFA). 

    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 

    • Previous experience providing operational support to both AWS and Azure environments. 

    • Ability to work independently and within a team environment. 

    • Strong communication skills. 

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

    • Ability to stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and integrate them into operations. 

     

    Preferred Skills: 

    • Certification in AWS or Azure. Preferred Certifications include: 

    • Azure Administrator Associate, Security Operations Analyst Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate 

    • AWS SysOps Administrator, Security Speciality 

    • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks. 

    • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native tools.
