Position Overview:
The Cloud Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure and cloud-based systems. Key duties include configuring network hardware and software, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring robust network security. Additionally, the role involves deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, optimizing cloud resources, and automating cloud operations.
Ideal Candidate:
The Ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with IT teams to integrate network and cloud systems seamlessly, provides technical support, and stays updated on emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and implement network solutions to support business objectives.
Install and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
Conduct regular network performance tuning and capacity planning.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network systems seamlessly.
Provide technical support and guidance on network-related issues.
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN).
Experience with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
Familiarity with network security practices and tools.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs. Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Knowledge of network security best practices, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and vulnerability assessment.
