Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Solutions Architect, Private Cloud & Datacenter Security to join our Global Technology Solutions team.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the technical discovery, architectural design, and security integration of comprehensive private cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions for prospective clients.

What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Technical Discovery & Qualification: Engage with prospective clients to evaluate current Information Technology landscapes, define business objectives, and uncover critical pain points.
Solution Architecture & Design: Design complex private cloud solutions utilizing Nutanix Architecture Organization System/Acropolis Hypervisor (AOS/AHV) and VMware vSphere environments, including sizing, capacity planning, and network design.
Security Integration: Incorporate robust security frameworks—including micro-segmentation, identity and access management, and data encryption—to ensure compliance and protect client infrastructure.
Technical Leadership & Sales Enablement: Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) workshops, develop detailed technical proposals and Statements of Work (SOW), and deliver high-impact presentations that demonstrate Return on Investment (ROI) to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of experience in a presales, solutions architect, or senior consulting role focused on datacenter infrastructure and private cloud solutions.
Strong knowledge of Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform (AOS, AHV, Prism Central) and VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T).
Proven ability in architecting data protection and security solutions (such as firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems [IDS/IPS], Security Information and Event Management [SIEM], and Storage Area Network/Network-Attached Storage [SAN/NAS] architectures).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a track record of translating complex technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Highly valued industry certifications such as Nutanix Certified Professional/Master (NCP/NCM), VMware Certified Advanced Professional/Design Expert (VCAP/VCDX), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA/CCNP).
Ability to travel up to 25–50% as required to support client engagement and sales activities.
