Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for designing, consulting, and supporting the implementation of cloud solutions for internal systems and enterprise customers. This role works closely with business, sales, product, network, security, and delivery teams to develop scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud architectures, supporting digital transformation and cloud adoption within the telecommunications ecosystem.
- Lead technical discussions with internal stakeholders, enterprise customers, and strategic partners to understand business requirements and identify cloud solution opportunities.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, then design end-to-end cloud solution architectures for public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
- Develop solution proposals, high-level design, low-level design, technical documentation, architecture diagrams, proof-of-concept plans, and implementation roadmaps.
- Design cloud solutions for telecom-related platforms such as customer applications, billing systems, CRM, data platforms, digital services, network support systems, and enterprise connectivity services.
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution presentation, technical consultation, proposal development, RFP/RFI responses, and technical clarification with customers.
- Conduct proof-of-concept validation to demonstrate solution feasibility, performance, scalability, security, and business value.
- Support cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, workload analysis, migration strategy, execution support, testing, and go-live activities.
- Collaborate with network, infrastructure, security, DevOps, software engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful cloud solution delivery.
- Provide technical guidance on cloud-native architecture, container platforms, Kubernetes, microservices, automation, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Ensure cloud solutions comply with security, governance, regulatory, data protection, and internal architecture standards.
- Optimize cloud architecture in terms of performance, reliability, scalability, operational efficiency, and cost management.
- Participate in large-scale digital transformation and cloud infrastructure projects across the telecommunications organization.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for business units and enterprise customers on cloud adoption, modernization, migration, and best practices.
- Stay updated on cloud technologies, telecom technology trends, industry standards, and cloud service offerings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, solution architecture, system integration, or enterprise technology consulting.
- Experience working in telecommunications, mobile network operators, cloud service providers, system integrators, or large technology organizations is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, or similar platforms.
- Experience designing hybrid cloud, private cloud, multi-cloud, virtualization, container, and cloud-native solutions.
- Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, RFP/RFI response, PoC implementation, or enterprise customer engagement is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including compute, storage, networking, database, security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of telecom IT systems and digital platforms such as OSS/BSS, CRM, billing, data platforms, customer portals, mobile applications, and enterprise services is preferred.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewall, SD-WAN, CDN, and connectivity solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud security, IAM, encryption, compliance, data protection, zero-trust architecture, and governance frameworks.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevOps practices is a plus.
- Ability to create architecture diagrams, technical proposals, solution documents, migration plans, and implementation roadmaps.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and solution design capability.
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Customer-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively with sales, product, engineering, security, and operations teams.
- Good project coordination, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
