Job Summary

The Cloud Architect (12241) is a pivotal member responsible for overseeing delivery, team management, and coordination between client, the development team, and extended SRE teams. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure cloud architecture and a strategic approach to cloud solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Transition and Project Management: Serve as the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) Lead during transitions, owning the Statement of Work (SoW), scheduling project kickoffs, and ensuring adherence to project plans and standards.
• Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute a forward-thinking Azure cloud strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
• Solution Development:Design Azure-based solutions focused on resilience, scalability, and security, ensuring they surpass industry standards.
• Infrastructure Management: Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to provision and manage Azure resources, streamlining deployment processes.
• Security and Compliance: Establish and maintain rigorous security protocols, including identity management and compliance enforcement.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Provide Azure-related expertise through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Technological Synthesis: Deliver detailed descriptions of various technological components and promote the reuse of shared approaches and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
• Professional/ Advanced English skills.
• +5 years of experience.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
• Strategic Planning and Decision Making: Proficient in developing and executing strategic plans for cloud adoption and transformation, with a focus on Azure environments. Capable of making informed decisions that align with both technical and business objectives.
• Cloud Architecture Knowledge: Deep understanding of Azure cloud architecture, services, and best practices. Skilled in designing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Leadership and Influence: Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor technical teams. Able to influence stakeholders and engineers, driving the adoption of new strategies or modifying existing ones.

• Competencies: Business Acumen, Strong business understanding to align cloud solutions with broader business strategies and objectives.
