The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for and top-tier, senior-level Cloud Services Engineer in Fayetteville, NC (or Tampa, FL) to support the mission objectives and needs on its USSOCOM Enterprise Development, Application and Training (EDAT) program.

The Cloud Services Engineer will be responsible for working with a highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; provide customers with technical support. This position will also be tasked with integrating all work within our Agile environment, participating with scrums and other meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains security requirements for operation of systems.

• Improves and maintains existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies, authentication, search, etc.)

• Maintenance of system in AWS environment using EC2, S3, Load Balancer, RDS, and IAM

• Manages AWS WorkSpaces.

• Automates and optimizes service deployments.

• Actively participates in technical requirements-gathering process in conjunction with assigned project managers.

• Executes the design and implementation of application features.

• Writes and produces detailed documentation.

Qualifications:
Required: 

• Active Top Secret clearance, and be SCI eligible.

• Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience -or- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.

• Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)

• Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure

• Angular frontend framework; UI/UX design

• Microservice-based backend architecture; integrating with COTS/FOSS software REST APIs

• CI/CD pipeline implementation, ideally with GitLab

Desired:

• Prior experience supporting USSOCOM

• Masters degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

• AWS or Microsoft Azure certification(s)

• Strong understanding of cloud APIs and interaction with the AWS/CLI

• Experience working with one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, or Java)

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Markdown, and portal development

• Database experience

• Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl

• Familiarity with DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,000 - $178,600
