Department OverviewThe Product Security Architecture Team (PSAT) is responsible for integrating security by design into the products created by our partner organizations in the business. Our PSAT consists of experienced security professionals that possess strong technical and communication skills.
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect with an initial focus on security monitoring. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security posture of our cloud environments in partnership with product teams. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based products and services, while also identifying and mitigating potential security risks and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop secure cloud architecture frameworks and solutions that align with industry best practices and meet business requirements.

  • Collaborate with product teams to define and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for the cloud environment.

  • Design and architect the security monitoring infrastructure in the cloud environment, including selecting and configuring appropriate security monitoring tools, technologies, and platforms.

  • Develop and implement security monitoring policies, procedures, and best practices in partnership with our ActiveEye Cloud SOC team to ensure the detection, analysis, and response to security events and incidents.

  • Collaborate with product teams to design and implement cloud security controls, policies, and configurations to strengthen the overall security posture of the cloud infrastructure.

  • Provide guidance and support to product teams in implementing and maintaining cloud security controls and best practices.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations for enhancing security monitoring capabilities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in security engineering and architecture design, with at least 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and the native security monitoring tools.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Experience in cloud security monitoring and incident response.

  • Relevant certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CISM or AWS/Azure/GCP security certifications are highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, identity and access management, and data protection principles.

  • In-depth understanding of security monitoring technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, log management, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and PCI DSS.

  • Proficient in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate security monitoring and analysis tasks.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Notes: Candidate can reside anywhere in the US.
