About You

The Cloud Sales Order Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing cloud support operations, supporting internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring seamless marketplace fulfillment. You will be responsible for operational and administrative tasks such as deal registrations, quoting cloud services, managing orders, and overseeing the fulfillment process for SaaS & IaaS technology subscriptions. Your expertise will contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction, efficient operations, and collaboration with various teams to enhance the customer journey.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

  • Own and manage tickets related to sales support requests.
  • Run discovery sessions and communicate with Advisors and Customers to qualify the best solution for their needs.
  • Leverage the AppDirect Marketplace and internal tools to identify optimal provider products and solutions aligned with customer requirements.
  • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience throughout the full quote-to-fulfillment lifecycle, meeting defined SLAs.
  • Manage deal registrations, discount approvals, quoting processes, and provider orders within the AppDirect Marketplace.
  • Execute all marketplace fulfillment operations, including provisioning with providers and resolving pending events to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely conversion of quotes into orders.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on customer information to ensure accuracy and order completeness.
  • Partner with Provider Managers to remove roadblocks related to quoting, discounting, and ordering, enabling a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the customer journey and collaborate cross-functionally to implement process enhancements that reduce friction and improve cycle times.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to elevate the customer experience, particularly in pre-deployment and post-sale coordination.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience in Business or Information Technology or related fields.
  • 1+ years of experience in quoting and ordering operational support, with expertise in cloud services.
  • 1+ years of experience in procuring and managing SaaS & IaaS technology subscriptions.
  • Proficiency with Google G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Hubspot.com, and various business software applications (Zendesk, Jira, Asana, SmartSheet).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle high volumes of quotes and orders, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, and external providers.
  • Experience managing 3rd party-delivered services and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
