The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Cloud Project Engineer (CPE) Administrator to support our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services within an Impact Level 6 (IL6) environment that will enable United States Air Force to transition from network operations and on-premises Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) for the transfer of classified information to a secure enterprise-based IL6 Cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

 Duties Include:

  • Working with the CPE Infrastructure Administrator in the development and maintenance support of a IL6 environment for the ECS EITaaS Stakeholders in accordance with DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) within a US Government multi-region enterprise platform for the Dept. of the Air Force. 
  • Working independently and cooperatively to complete tasks as assigned and work with multiple application teams to integrate systems and solutions, triage issues, and prioritize activities.
  • Utilizing good verbal and written skills to communicate effectively to include answering questions, proactively communicating, and troubleshooting issues within the core infrastructure and application services.
  • Collaborating with your manager and Infrastructure Administrator to review requirements, priorities, and objectives to support the capabilities and direction of the overall solution. This includes participation in development, design, review, deploy, maintain and monitoring of the infrastructure services. You will ensure product success and will follow all established processes and standards.
  • Managing your assigned cloud workloads in the day-to-day operations.  You will be responsible for supporting various tasks such as  planning, designing, managing, supporting, and maintaining cloud computing-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Demonstrated experience as a self-starter who can manage individual tasks and have good communication skills for partnering and communicating across internal teams to maximize efficiency and success of assigned tasks.
  • 12+ Years of relevant experience (bachelor’s degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
  • 2+ years’ experience directly supporting and administrating multiple cloud services such as virtual network appliances, VPNs, Dedicated Hosts, private endpoints, Log Analytics workspace, virtual machines (VMs) and images, storage accounts, and DNS.

Deployment: Experience with deployment and management of cloud resources and infrastructure components is accordance with IL6 SRG requirements.

  • Security: Experience with best practices for the cloud environments, Cloud Computing SRG, PIM, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Conditional Access Policies, Policy, and Regulatory Compliance such as IL6 and NIST 800-53 Rev 5.
  • Experience with Governance capabilities with Management Groups, Subscriptions and Resource Groups
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-effectiveness, performance, and scalability. Including deploying automation streamline provisioning, configuration management, and supporting deployment processes.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect data and applications hosted in the cloud.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Managers, Application teams, Developers, DevOps engineers, and System Administrators, to support application development and deployment.
  • Documentation: Good skills in documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and operational processes and procedures, clearly being able to identify key aspects in your own words, and writing such that others who may not be technical can still understand what is being conveyed.  Skills with documenting diagrams with Visio are also preferred.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,300
