Come join the team! As part of our RVO Health Data Platform team, you will be a technical leader that helps support innovative projects for many of our businesses, including Healthline, Healthgrades, Optum Now, Medical News Today, Quit For Life and Wellos among others! We work in a highly collaborative agile environment supporting cloud infrastructure, data tooling, data security, and cost optimization.
- Design, implement, and maintain the company's cloud infrastructure, SaaS applications, and cost optimization tools.
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to create visibility and awareness of security, infrastructure, and cost gaps and work to prioritize their resolution in a collaborative way.
- Embark on greenfield projects taking in requirements, designing and implementing them all the way through.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, and policies in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA,PHI, PII).
- Stay informed of the latest developments in tactics, techniques, and procedures related to application & infrastructure, and AI advancements.
- At least 3+ years of experience in platform engineering or a related role.
- In depth and hands on understanding of cloud native principles, deployment architectures, and cloud services (AWS preferred)
- Hands on experience with Terraform
- Experience designing and implementing / deploying services and cloud solutions
- A general understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, HIPAA).
- Strong problem-solving and whiteboard style analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
- A working knowledge of cost optimization / reporting as it relates to SaaS spend
- A general understanding of the A.I landscape and evolving technologies
- Professional Data engineering experience
- In depth knowledge of cost optimization and reduction
- In depth knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake or other data tools
- Some understanding of software development and the SDLC
Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.
- Starting Salary: $100,000 - $145,000*
