Primary Responsibilities:
Builder Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making.
- Design, build, and manage our cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment of our Spring Boot applications
- Manage and optimize our data platforms, including MongoDB Atlas, ensuring performance, security, and scalability
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS for deploying microservices
- Establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch to ensure platform health and performance
- Collaborate with development teams to create and support a seamless developer experience, providing self-service tools and environments
- Ensure the security of the cloud platform by implementing best practices for identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to and resolve production incidents
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in a Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE role
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Experience managing and supporting production database systems
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancing)
- Solid proficiency with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, EKS/ECS, Lambda)
- Proficiency with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree t experience
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
- Experience supporting Java-based applications, particularly those built with the Spring Boot framework
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
- Experience with managed database services like MongoDB Atlas
- Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry)
