Reporting to the Lead Cloud Operations Architect, the Cloud Operations Architect is responsible for building operational frameworks, automation, reliability, and governance across both cloud-native and legacy hosting workloads. You will collaborate closely with other teams in Cloud Operations to deliver resilient, secure, and scalable operations.

You will be joining a global team, part of the Cloud Operations department within Esko. This is a hybrid position with two days at the office in Ghent, Belgium.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Align infrastructure architecture with application and business requirements to ensure strategic coherence.
• Design and implement frameworks that promote secure, consistent, and optimized provisioning through automation and governance controls.
• Play an active role in evaluating and selecting technologies and tools that support operational excellence.
• Provide expert support in complex scenarios, both internally and externally.
• Drive capacity and cost optimization across cloud environments.
• Collaborate across teams and functions, serving as a mentor and technical guide.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Experience working with leading cloud platforms and products from vendors such as AWS, Azure, Nutanix, Fortinet, Okta.
• Proficiency with operating systems like Windows and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with automation and DevOps technologies including Ansible, GitHub, Terraform, Jenkins, and PowerShell.
• Ability to drive capacity and cost optimization across cloud environments.
• Willingness to collaborate and mentor across teams and functions.
