The Role

As we continue to grow our business, an opportunity has become available for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. You will help drive the smooth running of our environment by improving and evolving our infrastructure, resolving infrastructure issues, supporting longer-term projects, simplifying complex systems and supporting the developer experience team with local environment improvements and platform improvements. 
All the above is expected to be delivered through leveraging Agile principles and best practices. Reporting status and success of initiatives will be based on agreed golden metrics and KPIs, in alignment with strong data-driven decision-making. 

Core duties and responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the smooth running and ongoing improvement of our environments, ensuring stability and efficiency. 
  • Support the developer experience team on their journey to enhance the developer's experience by improving tooling, processes and automation in a practical, hands‑on way. 
  • Research, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure‑related issues across the full technology stack. 
  • Support longer‑term platform and infrastructure initiatives that drive growth and technical maturity. 
  • Maintain clear and well‑structured documentation for internal tools, systems and environments. 
  • Assess and recommend new tools, technologies, and cloud services that can bring value to the business. 
  • Work confidently across both application‑level and infrastructure‑level code where required. 
  • Promote strong operational practices, focusing on performance, reliability, and security. 
  • Collaborate closely with our Site Reliability team to support operational tasks and improvements. 
  • Simplify systems and services by reducing complexity and helping to remove technical debt. 
  • Communicate complex technical topics clearly and effectively to both technical and non‑technical colleagues. 
  • Leverage Agile principles and best practices in day-to-day operations. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required:
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or similar engineering role. 
  • Strong expertise in Linux command line and operating environments. 
  • Hands‑on experience with provisioning and configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Ansible, Puppet). 
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure‑as‑code and orchestration tools such as Terraform and Ansible. 
  • Exposure to CI/CD tooling, including building and maintaining pipelines. 
  • Experience working with AWS, including multi‑region environments. 
  • Good SQL knowledge, ideally with Percona clusters or Amazon RDS. 
  • Experience supporting PHP and web application environments. 
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms such as New Relic, Datadog or Dynatrace. 
  • Ability to work across application and infrastructure codebases. 
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English. 
  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively as part of a wider engineering team. 
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of reliability and operational discipline. 
  • Experience using and tweaking LLMs for internal usage through vendor pipelines, for example, AWS Bedrock or equivalent. 
  • Ability to define, improve and follow a metric-driven change approach, setting yourself and the organisation for long-term success. 
Salary budget:
  • Depending on experience, the salary ranges from €45,000 to €52,000 gross per year.
Work mode:
  • We offer a hybrid work mode to be present in the Plovdiv or Sofia office at least twice per week.

The Interview Process:
  • Screening interview with the Talent Partner and a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
  • Final interview and live assessment/task with Senior Team Member & Director of Infrastructure.

Skills Required
