Perform cloud audits and operational assessments (e.g., configuration, access, logging, and policy adherence), and maintain evidence-ready documentation
Support engineering teams by fulfilling operational requests, enabling safe changes, and providing Tier 2/3 cloud platform support
Collaborate closely with cross regional partners to improve operational runbooks, standards, and automation that reduce toil and increase reliability
This position plays a key role in building a stable, scalable, and secure future for Columbia’s cloud portfolio.
YOU ARE
A strong Azure engineer passionate about secure, scalable, and innovative cloud solutions
A collaborator who enjoys working with global teammates across cultures and time zones
A clear and confident communicator, in both spoken and written English and be able to work with technical and nontechnical audiences
Someone who values documentation, standards, and process-driven engineering
Familiar with IT Service Management (ITSM / ITIL), operations maturity, and enabling service teams
A proactive, self-directed engineer who thrives in a dynamic, global environment
An analytical thinker who emphasizes structure, quality, and repeatability
YOU HAVE
Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on cloud engineering or cloud operations experience

General knowledge of AWS (nice to have, not required)
Experience working with global or distributed teams (GCC/multinational experience is a plus)
Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence
Strong Terraform experience, particularly for IaC and deployment pipelines
Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, automation tools such as Ansible and PowerShell
