Overview

Provides maintenance of Cloud Infrastructure Services for clients. Acts as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Requires experience of working in technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, VMWare Cloud Administration and Azure.

We are seeking a Mid-Level AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering cutting-edge cloud solutions.

Role Overview:
As a Mid-Level AWS Cloud Engineer at TNS, you will play a crucial role in the administration and optimization of our AWS infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining best-practice AWS architectural footprints, ensuring that our cloud environment is scalable, secure, and efficient. Additionally, you will implement CI/CD pipelines and automation toolsets to enhance our cloud operations. Experience in the payment or financial market is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Design and implement AWS architectural best practices, including network, compute, storage, and security components.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes and improve efficiency.
• Implement and manage automation tools and scripts to optimize cloud operations.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and services.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in administering and managing AWS infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

• Experience in designing and implementing AWS architectural best practices.

• Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation tasks.

• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in AWS.

• For this role, we anticipate paying $95,000K - $110,000K annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Desirable Skills:

• Experience in the payment or financial services industry.

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar.
